Pune region always has been an epicenter for Landscape as a profession, with one of the highest number of Landscape Architects practicing for many years now, with wonderfully executed projects pan India, many many awards and over all excellent awareness about the profession. Two very successfully ISOLA conferences were hosted by Landscape Architects of the region, which contributed to ISOLA in a big way. ISOLA EC too has been having prominent members from Pune. When the chapter was decided to be formed, Idea to make a more inclusive – Maharashtra Chapter was worked on, to give a common platform for Landscape Architects from all the cities of the state, along with Pune. Since the chapter has been formed, we have hosted two successful events with an attendance of over 100 each.
